Rants
These few days, i've been feeling discontentment and... a mixture of frustration and anger.
At... certain people. And at myself.
I get discontented when i realize i'm not up to expectations, or when i can't have a say in class, because the lecturer happens to prefer non-local students to speak up. Its like when non-local students speak they're gold, and when local students speak we have no brains.

Retracing Childhood
i went to the dentist today, and came back a happy girl. ( i sound like i just went shopping haha)
first off, the total charges weren't as high as i had expected it to be...
i've been going to this dentist for as long as i remember... since primary school. And the dentist's assistant has always tbeen the same too... i like the familiar feeling of going there. It might be a tad more expensive than the government dentist, but i don't mind, i love the homely feeling i get when i go back. the dentist's assistant was very nice, i always like to talk to her when we meet, and today she said "It's a joy to watch you grow up."

Thank You
"Thank you/ For the promises You made/ For the gift of life You gave/ Always, I will sing Your praise"
I was on the train platform waiting for the train, when it struck me that i had so much to thank for.
Thank You Lord, for me.

Overspending
I spend waaaay too much.
Since 26.07.07, which is like a period of less than three weeks, i have spent a grand total of like 400 bucks.
Or even more than that.

School
The life of essays and examinations has started, again.
For maybe the last time in my life as a student.
Tuesdays are killing, with lessons from 830am to 830pm.

This week + Dim Sum Dollies!
This week's been pretty busy. Fruitfully busy, that is.
I had coffee with Ryn (thks for the coffee babe!), jumped back on bible study with Michelle, went cycling and dinnering with Yujia and Miao, and caught the Harry Potter preview the same night with my sec sch darlings. And on Saturday night, i caught the Dim Sum Dollies with Junhan's sister, tickets courtesy of Junhan's brother!

Updating the bank Passbook
Is scary. i don't know if any of you have gone through it before, but updating the passbook sure is stressful.
Feeding the passbook into the slim slot, i wait in unsettling fear of what is to be printed on the book.
Then as the machine returns the book to me with a mechanical beep, i squeeze my eyes shut, not daring to see what has been printed onto the book, knowing and fearing the worst.
